A249 ~ Not sure where else to put this! It's a pin brooch -- costume jewelry, probably from the 1940's, or maybe earlier? Hey, everyone needs a scimitar! There is a bit of blue enamel on the handle and all 8 sapphire blue crystals are firmly in place. Are they cabochon rhinestones? There are two more equally spaced bails on the back for more dangles. Sword is exactly in the same condition as i bought it in several years ago for $47. The back is marked "Leo Glass." Another view.

- A234: Nice, small Tibetan gau, old, sealed. 1-5/8" inches long, inc. bails. $95. SOLD.
- A116: Jaipur silver bracelet -- woven silver of 84% or better purity. SOLD.
- A011: Tibeto-Nepalese red coral bracelet in ultra-high silver. The metal is unmarked but very fine quality -- nearly pure silver. Soft and flexible. Dragon and snow-lion motifs. SOLD.
- Bhutanese bracelet: It's too heavy for my gram scale, but on my postal scale it comes in a little over 6 oz. It's pristeen, an exciting find, and choice quality. The silver is the highest quality, sterling or better, really soft and beautiful. (and germ resistant---they say) It's very easy to adjust. SOLD.
- A115: Tibetan, fine old spider-web turquoise stone set in a silver and copper bead, sometimes called a "hair bead" because it can lay flat, and would usually be worn amidst braids around the forehead, temples, and crown. Symbol for eternity on the other side. $59. SOLD.
- T121: Here is the ultimate in inspired, composed Baluch design. Organic, fluid, deeply engraved. Bracelet has a 2-3/16ths inner diameter, with a hinged door. Late 19th century to early 20th. Excellent condition, clean. For the small to medium wrist. $130. SOLD. Balochis/Belushis.
- A001: All of the following coins have a luscious patina and substantial feel in the hand, because, and this is the important thing, they are REAL COINS, not cast copies, and they were worn by the people of South Asia as portable investments. All are VERY high silver content. These were minted by an Islamic (Mughal) principality, likely around DECCAN, mid 1700's to early 1800's. Relatively thick, and approx. 1 inch diameter. Sorry -SOLD OUT.
- A239: Wonderful old Pakistani earrings. High quality silver: probably over 60 years old, if not 19th century. 12 gauge hoops. Not heavy! They are 1-3/4" wide and with the dangles they are about 3 inches long.. SOLD.
- T112: Old matched tradebeads earrings with rare antique kefir pendants. These pendants are puffed, the same front and back, very high quality... collectors will be happy with. Sterling locking euro earwires. 6.7cm long in toto. Handmade and perfect components, with a nice patina. The pair, $65. SOLD.
- Tur106: Baluchi or North Indian dress, SOLD.
- A233: Kefir or Baluchi birds pendant. SOLD.

- Small button, Western Yomud Turkoman, (Persian/ Iran) with 22k gilded silver and glass stone. Sturdy and excellent condition. Can be sewn on and used as buttons, (or necklace closures!) tho smaller than the classic rose or flower "guljaka," they may have had the same function. Large button has excellent, precise engraving and fire gilding -- perhaps a Tekke influence. Guaranteed, turn-of-the-century antiques! Large: (SOLD) $45. Small: $25.
- Antique Ersari Turkman rose. Large, natural, untreated carnelian. I see these pieces as probably having once been part of an assemblage, now it is up to your own creativity. 1-3/4" long including bails. $75.
- 19th century Yomud Turkman Rose. This would make a great centerpiece for a necklace! This piece is very likely from Bukhara, see p.143 of Kalter's "Arts and Crafts of Turkestan." Bails are worn, but intact. High silver, well crafted, with natural table-cut Carnelian. See Back. View of Side. 1-5/16" long. $95.
- Fine Turkoman coin silver components. The 3-D drop shapes are substantial: made from 2 pieces of silver, with a smooth flat back. They were traditionally sewn en masse on the front lapel of chapans. Great for earrings! $22. per pair. The 3-D flower rosettes at top are $18. per pair.
Turkman silver components. Flat squares are $7. ea. High silver bead is $29.
